This role will predominantly focus on the South East area.
As a Rigger as part of our Terrestrial Broadcast business unit you will assist in the provision of site maintenance activities including the inspection of Arqiva’s network of masts, towers, rooftops and other site sharing structures. Providing expert technical support relating to the inspection, maintenance and acceptance of Arqiva structures and associated equipment to ensure structural integrity, reliability and serviceability.
With a high level of Health & Safety awareness and the ability to work safely at heights, you will have a proven track record of construction and maintenance of Masts, Towers, Rooftops and Antenna’s with strong practical knowledge of rigging techniques, especially lifting and lowering. A good communicator with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications, you’re able to supervise rigging contractors and with knowledge of basic first aid at work. You’re also familiar with RF hazards, monitoring techniques and antenna radiation patterns and can additionally offer:
• The ability to pass a medical to substantiate fitness to climb
• Category 2 climber &Rooftop access & RF awareness trained
• Hold a valid UK driving license as you will be required to travel around North London
