Network Architect

As the Network Architect, you will act as the Lead Design Authority (LDA) to ensure the delivery of the end to end
customer solution. You will own, develop and communicate the networks roadmap, creating the network
capabilities required to deliver Arqiva’s product roadmaps. Leading the strategic input on network thinking for new
BU and corporate business development initiatives, you will also:

- Collaborate with the Connectivity, BU, Strategy and Finance teams
- Take ownership of high-level design standards and target architecture across the Arqiva portfolio (operational
and corporate)
- Support the Technical Strategy Manager to ensure future enhancements and network refresh programmes are
delivered in-line with budget specification
- Participate in bid submissions, ensuring all proposals are aligned with product roadmaps and future network
deployments
- Lead the introduction of industry best practice and encourage their adoption across teams

The Network Architect will have experience in setting the standards for the design, development and testing of
bespoke and COTS (Common off the Shelf) software/hardware for Broadcast, IP network, IOT or corporate
applications. You will also require experience/knowledge in the following:

- Setting the standards for processes, standards and engineering practices related to your area of expertise
- Setting the standards for technology and architecture of platforms and systems in your area of expertise
- Working with suppliers to develop new services/capabilities and driving them to resolve and fix functionality
issues and errors
- Investigating and resolving complex problems using appropriate methodologies
- Quality standards and SHE
