As Business Planning Manager you will be a critical member of the management team within the IT Strategy, Planning and Transformation team. Business Planning are accountable for defining and operating planning models to aid decision making. It is a crucial part of the planning and reporting function for all IT initiatives, ensuring IT are utilising supply in the most efficient and effective way, whilst delivering on Arqiva's priorities.

As the Business Planning Manager, you will be responsible for;

  • Defining, implementing and continuously improving agreed planning models to support IT achieve Arqiva strategic goals.
  • Creating, implementing and continuously improving a Resource Planning model and process for ongoing supply and demand management across the wider team.
  • Collating, analysing, and making recommendations for strategic and tactical decision making including "what if" scenario planning.
  • Operational modelling
  • Planning and forecasting of operational and capital initiatives.
  • Lead and support strategic projects, engaging with internal and external senior stakeholders
  • Undertake activities or tasks as defined by line manager

A Finance and/or PMO related background would work well in this role as well as experience of developing and implementing strategy either in industry or a business consultancy capacity. Having experience within broadcast, telecommunications, digital or media sector would be an advantage.

You will also have

  • Experience of analysing and researching markets, competitors, technology, customers and consumer
  • Use and application of strategic frameworks and analysis, financial modelling and forecasting
  • Ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience of producing business cases and financial plans
