As a Senior DevOps Engineer reporting to the DevOps Lead, you will be working within the meta-data services development team. This team are responsible for the meta-data services of one of our biggest media partners, that stream their services on millions of devices and receive billions of requests every day. You will be heavily involved in the design and delivery of technical solutions within within agile methodologies. You will be heavily involved in the full development lifecycle as well as getting involved and being instrumental in the provisioning of a new cloud based system. The cloud based system will be a source of rapid deployment through CI/CD processes and you will be a significant part in the implementation and support of this. We are looking for a strong DevOps Engineer who has significant knowledge and/or experience in software development methodologies, including the use of code management through Git. You will also have excellent Linux and cloud server management skills within AWS, Azure or GCP. Experience of Docker and containerisation. CI/CD tools such as Concourse, Jenkins. Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef. You can also bring: • Strong stakeholder management skills. • Excellent influencing and persuading skills. • Able to simplify and explain complex problems. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
